Indictment: Woman aided terror group

The indictment filed by Adv. Shikma Nechmias from the Haifa District Prosecutor’s Office reveals that the defendant operated over a period within several Telegram groups linked to “Khalia 48,” and maintained contact with group administrators, with reasonable grounds to suspect that these individuals are connected to the Hamas terrorist organization and operate on its behalf.

As part of her activity in the groups, the defendant was involved in editing, proofreading, and translating texts intended for publication on social networks using fictitious profiles, and transferred content to group members and administrators for dissemination.

The indictment further states that the defendant wrote and sent content for publication, and also assisted in characterizing and directing the use of fictitious profiles, with the aim of strengthening their credibility and presenting them as authentic Israeli profiles.

In addition, after it became known about screen breaches in public places in israel and the broadcasting of pro-Hamas messages, the defendant offered to photograph barcodes of screens and devices in government offices, as well as in post offices, banks, health funds, and public transportation stations in Israel, and to transfer them to Hamas operatives so that they could hack into them and broadcast pro-Hamas messages.
