Jerusalem, 12 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — On the occasion of this week’s Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day, the Ministry of Aliyah announced that over 2,000 Holocaust survivors immigrated to Israel in the past decade.
Since 2016, a total of 2,316 Holocaust survivors immigrated to Israel, with approximately 120 of them immigrating during the war since October 7, 2023.
During the past year, two Holocaust survivors immigrated to Israel: one, 96 years old, who immigrated from the United States, and the other, 88 years old, who immigrated from France and lives in Ashdod.
