Israel's average monthly salary hit $4,882 in February 2026, a 5% rise from 2025, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Jerusalem, 5 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — > 🇮🇱🇦🇷”>Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that in February 2026 the average salary for a salaried position in Israel at current prices was 14,344 Shekels ($4,882), an increase of 5% compared to February 2025, when it was 13,665 Shekels ($4,651).

The average salary for an employee position at constant prices (deducted by the monthly consumer price index) was 11,561 Shekels ($3,935), an increase of 2.9% compared to February 2025, when it was 11,231 Shekels ($3,822).

The number of salaried jobs was 4.124 million, a decrease of 0.3% compared to January 2026 (4.136 million) and an increase of 0.8% compared to February 2025 (4.093 million).

Average salary for an employee position at current prices – According to the flash estimates for March 2026, the average salary for an employee position at current prices for all employees was 15,529 Shekels ($5,282), an increase of 8.3% compared to March 2025, when it was 14,332 Shekels ($4,875). The average salary for an employee position at current prices for Israeli employees was 15,979 Shekels ($5,434), an increase of 9.0% compared to March 2025, when it was 14,657 Shekels ($4,986).

Salaried jobs – According to the flash estimates for March 2026, the number of salaried jobs for all workers was 4.034 million, a decrease of 7.6% compared to February 2026 (4.366 million) and a decrease of 7.0% compared to March 2025 (4.336 million).

The number of salaried jobs of Israeli workers (out of the number of salaried jobs of all workers) was 3.797 million, a decrease of 7.9% compared to February 2026 (4.124 million) and a decrease of 7.9% compared to March 2025 (4.123 million).
