Speaker of the Knesset MK Amir Ohana (Likud) met on Monday in his chamber with Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs János Bóka, who serves as the Hungarian Prime Minister’s envoy to combat antisemitism. speaker mk Ohana said in the meeting that he expected the coming years to be good for the State of Israel and the Middle East, and this [would be achieved] by the expansion of the Abraham Accords, among other things.
speaker mk Ohana thanked Minister Bóka for Hungary’s firm and uncompromising stance alongside Israel since the outbreak of the war, saying that while antisemitism was running rampant around the world, Hungary had chosen the just and moral side of history. “We will never forget your support against the opponents and haters of Israel,” said the Speaker of the Knesset.
Speaker MK Ohana said to Minister Bóka that Hungary’s decision to refuse to receive immigrants within the quotas decided upon by the European Union, while paying the EU a fine of EUR 1 million per day in return, was the best investment that Hungary could make.
