More Than 330 Jews Apply for Immigration to Israel Since Start of Iran Conflict
More than 330 Jews worldwide have opened immigration files to Israel since the Iran conflict began, including many from North America.
Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — According to data from the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption, more than 330 Jews from around the world have opened Aliyah – immigration – files since the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion” against Iran.
Among the applicants: about 150 from North America (USA and Canada), about 60 from former Soviet countries, 39 from England, 27 from France, 13 from South Africa, along with many applications from other countries in Europe, Latin America and Australia.
According to data from the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption and the Jewish Agency, during the current month (March), 552 new immigrants are expected to arrive in Israel from many countries, including France, England, the United States, former Soviet countries, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Chile, Moldova, Italy, Canada, Spain and other countries.
