The meeting will deal with the relationship between the local committee, the cooperative society, and what lies between them.
The webinar will be conducted by Adv. Eitan Maimon, legal advisor to councils and cooperative societies, and accompanying accountant for Moshav Miluot.
What we will discuss in the meeting
Who really decides in the settlement – In the reality of the rural space, the dividing line between the local committee, the community cooperative society, and the cooperative committee is one of the most complex areas to manage. The confusion between statutory authorities and cooperative assets is not just a bureaucratic matter; it is an opening for legal risks and personal exposure of committee members.
We will map out the boundaries between the entities and learn how to implement proper corporate governance within the settlement’s complexity.
