I had the honor of meeting today, together with NSW Governor Margaret Beazley and her husband Dennis, some of the heroes who saved lives on bondi beach – representatives of emergency services, marine rescue activists, Red Cross volunteers, and those who ran into the fire out of deep human duty.
Salute to them!
