This morning (Wednesday, January 21, 2026), president isaac Herzog held meetings at the World Economic Forum in Davos with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin.
During their meeting, President Herzog and President Aliyev discussed ways to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Israel and Azerbaijan.
President Herzog and President Parmelin spoke about the importance of deepening cooperation between Israel and Switzerland across a range of fields, including trade, innovation, science, and technology.
