The North is taking off again: Prime Minister Netanyahu and transportation Minister Regev granted a license for the renewed operation of the kiryat shmona airstrip.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: “We will increase the population and invest billions in the North by channeling air, rail, and highway transportation.”
Minister Regev: “This is a strategic move that restores air connectivity to the North and joins the renewed operation of Haifa Airport, as part of an overall concept that connects the North to the center and the south, making accessibility faster, more available, and more advanced, to the point of eliminating the concept of ‘periphery’.”
