Today, a new synagogue was inaugurated at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, in the presence of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and the Rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz.
Three unique Torah scrolls from Iraq, Romania, and Colombia were brought into the synagogue – together they tell the story of the Jewish people’s continuity throughout the generations.
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar: “Every synagogue represents our connection to tradition, heritage, and our roots. Without them, we have no existence. Even in political and diplomatic endeavors, we will succeed only if we know how to preserve and speak in the name of our roots.”
