About a month ago, an investigation was opened at the National Unit for Serious and International Crimes Investigation (Lahav 433) following an incident in which a 15-year-old boy was shot dead at the entrance to his home in Nazareth. According to suspicion, the boy was shot as part of a conflict between the Khiri and Hariri crime organizations, despite having no involvement in crime.
The unit’s investigators conducted intelligence activity during which three residents of Jisr az-Zarqa and Reineh, aged 20 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder. In addition, during the investigation, duplicated license plates, five vehicles, two 9mm pistols, and a Kalashnikov rifle were seized, which, according to suspicion, were used by the suspects in the murder.
At the end of an intensive investigation and the formation of an evidentiary foundation, a prosecutor’s statement was filed today with the intention of filing an indictment against the suspects.
