Theactivityincludedaspecialeventforchildrenwithspecialneeds, aninspirationalvisitbyastronautDr. SianProctorandavisitbythenewMayor. Alltheeventswereproudlyledby “PlanetanyaYouth” guides – thefuturegenerationofspaceleadersinIsrael.
- Ofakim– Science, inspirationandexperienceforthegeneralpublic TheScienceCenterwasfilledwithaspaceatmosphereandhostedabout 900 visitorswhoenjoyedabout 12 experientialactivitystationsandahugeplanetarium. Visitorstookanactivepartincreation, closelydiscoveredIsraelispacedevelopmentsandbecameresearchersforaday, witheachparticipantleavingwithatechnologicalsouvenirtheybuiltthemselves.
- Haifa– “AJourneyAmongtheStars” atMadatechTheSpaceWeekinHaifaculminatedwith 1,945 visitorswhoenjoyedvirtualrealityexperiencesandfascinatingscienceshows. Alongsidethecelebrationforthegeneralpublic, aspecialempowermentdaywasheldthatconnectedspaceresearcherswiththefuturegenerationofscienceandengineeringinIsrael.
- Jerusalem – Discoveringwhat’s“BeyondtheSky” AttheBloomfieldScienceMuseum, nearly 2,000 visitorsdoveintothedepthsofEitanStibbe’sjourney. Amongmodelbuilding, rocketlaunchesandrareexhibits, visitorsdiscoveredwhatreallifeinspacelookslikeandbecameresearchersforaday.
- Usfiya– AglimpseintoIsrael’sofficialsolarobservatory At the SOLARIS complexaprofessionalspacefairwasheldwhichwasattendedbyabout 600 participantsfromallovertheNorth. Visitorsenjoyedhologramexhibits, escaperoomsandplanetariumshows, andreceivedarareglimpseintothemostadvancedresearchsolarobservatoryintheMiddleEast. Additionally, wecelebratedinNofHagalilwiththe “BacktotheMoon” festivalat V Planet – andinMa’aleHananweinauguratedthenew Mega Space centeroftheKinneretEmekimclusterwithhundredsofparticipantswhowentonmissionsonlunarsoil.
