During the Passover holiday and Chol HaMoed, 13 Nissan – 21 Nissan 5786 (01.04.2026-08.04.2025), there will be no public reception at the Population and Immigration Authority units, and there will be no telephone service at the National Service Center.
Temporary passports in exceptional cases will be issued at the Population Authority office at ben gurion Airport (open to the public Sunday to Thursday, 24 hours a day; on Friday and holiday eves until 2:00 PM; and on Saturdays and holidays from 9:00 PM).
Please prepare and ensure that the passports you hold, including children’s passports, are valid.
The units will return to regular operation on Thursday, 22 Nissan 5786, 09.04.2026.
The public is invited to perform a variety of actions on the website, even during Chol HaMoed (requests will be processed after the holiday and there may be a delay in service).
Information regarding exit injunction orders can be obtained through an online service on the Authority’s website or by dialing the automated response of the National Service Center at: 3450*.
