As part of increased enforcement activity on shipments imported via an air courier company, investigators from the Drugs Unit of Ben Gurion Airport Customs managed to expose a shipment containing approximately half a liter of the date rape drug GBL, which was imported from the USA and passed through a third country to obscure traces, and was intended for two customers in the center of the country.

All findings were transferred for further evidence extraction in the forensic laboratories of the Israel Police, alongside the arrest of the two suspects for investigation at the offices of the Netanya Police District in the Central District, and according to the findings, the suspects were brought for a hearing on the request for an extension of their arrest.
