Yesterday (Monday), IDF forces responded to the area of the village of Karyut in the Samaria Brigade following a report of friction between Israeli and Palestinian civilians that included stone-throwing. Subsequently,
IDF investigates friction in Karyut village where a reservist's weapon was confiscated after stone-throwing incident.
Upon receiving the reports, an immediate command investigation was conducted in the field at all levels, during which it became clear that the shooter was an active reservist in the IDF. After the investigation, his weapon was confiscated. A criminal investigation was opened following the incident.
