Behind the series of attacks in the heart of Iran, alongside the pilots – the Haredi aircraft maintenance technicians in the Air Force work around the clock. The unit’s soldiers are responsible for refueling, arming, and preparing aircraft for departure and arrival 24 hours a day.

As part of the ‘For the Sake of Heaven’ program, the aircraft maintenance soldiers enable fighter jets to achieve significant accomplishments, while providing service that allows them to maintain their Haredi lifestyle.

The commander of the Haredi aircraft maintenance unit in Squadron 109, Master Sergeant D., said: “We are doing everything necessary to ensure the aircraft’s airworthiness, the pilots’ safety, and the aircraft’s readiness for the next sortie. We fully understand the importance of our work and our contribution to the mission’s success – ensuring every aircraft completes its mission and returns safely.”
