Over the past week, IDF forces from the Judea and Samaria Division and Division 96 operated as part of hundreds of offensive activities and 7 different brigade-level operations.
The Judea and Samaria Division was reinforced with 8 battalions to expand the scope of operational activity and defense. During the week, forces arrested over 200 wanted individuals involved in terrorism – including bomb makers, weapons dealers, Hamas operatives, inciters to terror, and suspects who planned to carry out attacks.
The forces located approximately 30 weapons – ‘M16s’, pistols, Carlo submachine guns, ‘hunter’ type weapons, and ‘Airsoft’ weapons intended for training, alongside two lathes for manufacturing weapons.
Division 96 was reinforced with reserve battalions and additional regular forces.
In parallel with the defense mission, over the past week, IDF and Border Police forces operated in several different offensive operations in the Jericho, Al-Fasayil, and Al-Auja areas. The forces arrested over 14 wanted individuals, including suspects involved in terrorist activity. In addition, security forces seized approximately 380,000 shekels designated for terrorist funding.
