In two separate strikes in the northern Gaza Strip over the past two weeks, IDF forces eliminated Hamar Iyad Muhammad Almatouk and Khaled Muhammad Salem Guda, two terrorists from the Hamas terror organization. The terrorists infiltrated Israeli territory in the murderous massacre on October 7th, and recently attempted to carry out terror plans against IDF forces operating in the area. The terrorists posed an immediate threat to the forces and were eliminated in precise strikes. Additionally, in another strike in the central Gaza Strip earlier this week (Wednesday), IDF forces eliminated Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud Jamaa Shaafi, a terrorist in the Al-Bureij battalion of the Hamas terror organization, who advanced terror plans against IDF forces. Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial observation. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to neutralize any immediate threat.
