In response to a flagrant violation of the agreement this week (Monday), the IDF eliminated the terrorist Ahmed Hassan, who took part in numerous terror attacks against IDF forces in the northern Gaza Strip. Hassan served as the head of the sniping array for Hamas’s Beit Hanoun battalion and was recently identified as promoting further terror attacks against IDF forces.
The terrorist led the terror attack in which Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Binyamin Assoulin z”l, Sgt. Maj. Noam Aharon Masgadian z”l, Sgt. Maj. Meir Shimon Amar z”l, Sgt. Moshe Nissim Peretz z”l, and Sgt. Maj. Moshe Shmuel Nul z”l were killed, and two additional soldiers were seriously wounded, on July 7, 2025.
Additionally, the terrorist participated in promoting the terror attack in which Master Sgt. Galeb Suleiman Nassar z”l was killed, and a tracker, a female combat officer, and a combat medic were seriously wounded on April 19, 2025, as well as in another terror attack in which Master Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Asaf Kapri z”l was killed, and two additional soldiers were seriously wounded on April 24, 2025.
The elimination of the terrorist constitutes an important closing of a circle. The IDF will continue to act against any attempt by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to carry out terror attacks against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
