In the past, he held several key positions in the Hezbollah terrorist organization and even participated in the fighting in Syria alongside the Assad regime. Additionally, he previously served as commander of the Al-Khiyam sector and led the terror plan against our forces, in which Hezbollah terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at IDF forces operating in the Mount Dov area on January 28, 2015, resulting in the deaths of two Givati Brigade soldiers, Major Yohai (Jucha) Kalangel, z”l, and First Sergeant Dor Haim Nini, z”l. The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime, and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.
