IDF eliminates senior commanders in Unit 1800 in Beirut, disrupting Hezbollah-Hamas coordination across the Middle East.
Unit 1800 is the unit responsible for coordination between the terrorist organization Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorist organizations in Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, and Judea and Samaria. As part of his role, Rakhan also commanded the transfer of terrorists from these organizations to fight against our forces operating in southern Lebanon. Along with Rakhan, the operations officer of Unit 1800 and another terrorist in the unit were also eliminated. In additional strikes during the day in Beirut and southern Lebanon, headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah were attacked. The IDF will continue to operate with force against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime, and will not allow harm to the civilians of the State of Israel.
