The Air Force, with precise intelligence guidance from AMAN, destroyed a space domain center of the Iranian terror regime, which was used to develop offensive capabilities to attack satellites, posing a threat to Israel’s satellites and the space assets of other nations worldwide.
The attacked center was used for the development of military space programs, within which, among other things, the satellite ‘Shams-1’ was developed. It was built by the Iranian Ministry of Defense’s electronics industries and launched into space in September 2024 by the Revolutionary Guards.
The destruction of the center is in addition to the strike carried out last week (Friday) against another space domain research center of the Iranian Space Organization in Tehran.
The Iranian terror regime has invested significant resources for years in developing space warfare capabilities, as part of its efforts to expand its military capabilities and undermine regional and international stability.
The IDF will continue to operate to defend its capabilities in all dimensions: land, air, sea, and space.
