The IDF attacked senior commanders in the Lebanon Division of the IRGC’s Quds Force in Beirut. The IDF recently conducted a targeted strike against senior commanders in the Lebanon Division of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards who were operating in Beirut. The commanders of the Lebanon Division of the Quds Force were working to advance terror plots against the State of Israel and its citizens in Lebanese territory, in parallel with the activities of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran. The Iranian terror regime systematically operates within civilian populations in Iran and Lebanon, cynically exploiting residents and using them as human shields to advance terror objectives. The Lebanon Division serves as a liaison between the Hezbollah terror organization and the Iranian terror regime, and is a body that supports the armament and force buildup of Hezbollah. Prior to the attack, measures were taken to minimize the chance of harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial observations. The IDF will not allow Iranian terror elements to establish themselves in Lebanese territory and will continue to precisely eliminate commanders of the Iranian terror regime wherever they operate.
