Fighters from Battalion 13, under the command of the 7th Brigade Combat Team, raided a Hezbollah terror organization infrastructure in southern Lebanon for a second time. During the encounter, Golani fighter, Sergeant First Class Tuval Yosef Lipschitz, may he rest in peace, fell on April 7, 2026.
At the terror infrastructure, the forces identified an armed terrorist with a Kalashnikov rifle and several magazines in his possession, hiding under the rubble in one of the building’s rooms. The forces engaged and neutralized the terrorist with close-range fire.
Additionally, the forces located the body of the terrorist who was neutralized in the encounter on April 7, 2026, in the structure.
The two neutralized terrorists carried out the terror attack against the battalion’s forces on April 7, during which Sergeant First Class Tuval Yosef Lipschitz, may he rest in peace, fell.
The IDF shares in the family’s sorrow and will continue to support them.
