Forces of the 300th Brigade, under the command of the 146th Division, are operating in southern Lebanon as part of the forward defense effort.
As part of the operation, forces identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell entering a structure in a Christian village in southern Lebanon. The forces directed an Air Force fighter jet, which attacked and eliminated the terrorist cell.
The presence of terrorists in the village area is another example of Hezbollah’s cynical exploitation of civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes.
