The factory, which presented itself as a civilian company, actually transferred chemical materials, including fentanyl, to the Iranian terror regime, which were used for research and development of chemical weapons. Fentanyl is an anesthetic which, in high doses, is considered an extremely lethal substance. Tofiq Daru Company knowingly and systematically supplied the lethal substance to the Spend organization, which used it to conduct research and development of chemical weapons. The attack constitutes a blow to the chemical weapons production capabilities of the Iranian terror regime. Prior to the attack, precautions were taken to minimize possible harm to civilians as much as possible.
