Over the past week, IDF forces, Judea and Samaria District Police officers, and Border Police officers, under the direction of the Shin Bet, conducted hundreds of counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria. During these operations, approximately 100 wanted individuals were arrested across all sectors, and two terrorist residences belonging to individuals involved in attacks where Aharon Cohen z”l, Captain Alon Skagio z”l, and Yehonatan Deutsch z”l were murdered, were demolished.
Among those arrested were operatives identified with Hamas, weapons dealers, and other individuals involved in promoting terrorist activities, as well as operatives from the “Islamic Charity Association,” which was declared an illegal organization after being identified as collaborating with Hamas.
During the operation, ‘M16’ rifles, handguns, ammunition, means for manufacturing weapons and explosives, and several ready-to-use explosive devices were seized by the forces. Additionally, tens of thousands of shekels intended for financing terrorist activities were confiscated.
The wanted individuals and the weapons were transferred for further processing by the Shin Bet and the Judea and Samaria District Police.
