This morning (Tuesday), the Chief of Staff held a staff assessment. During the assessment, the Chief of Staff instructed to continue exploiting operational opportunities as part of the overall campaign against Iran and its entire axis.
The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, said: “The IDF continues to operate with force against a series of targets in Iran. Alongside the damage and ongoing erosion of military capabilities and industrial production capabilities, we are operating against elements of the Revolutionary Guards and the regime’s repression elements.”
“Significant thwarting achievements were also recorded last night with the potential to influence the campaign’s achievements and the IDF’s missions,” the Chief of Staff noted. “This is in addition to the thwarting operations carried out in recent days in Iran against external elements, also related to the Palestinian arena. Among other things, senior officials in Tehran involved in terrorist activity from Gaza and Judea and Samaria, who were hiding in a safe house, were thwarted.”
“The campaign against Hezbollah and the removal of threats from the northern settlements continues to be another central area of activity. We continue to concentrate forces and expand the ground operation,” Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir continued.
“The cooperation between the IDF and the U.S. Army’s Central Command continues to strengthen, and joint operations contribute to enhancing operational achievements. We will continue to act with determination to remove threats to the residents of the State of Israel.”
