Joint Statement from the IDF Spokesperson and the Shin Bet Spokesperson: Following an attempt to advance terror plots against our forces: The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated a terrorist who was a leader of the raid into the Kissufim area during the October 7th massacre.

Abu Karim was one of the leaders of the raid into the Kissufim area during the October 7th massacre. Throughout the war, Abu Karim promoted and executed terror plans against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. Recently, he violated the ceasefire agreement and kept numerous weapons in his home, while attempting to rebuild the organization and conduct terrorist training with the aim of promoting further terror plans. Along with Zakkar Abu Karim, another terrorist who served as a liaison operative in the Hamas terror organization was eliminated in the strike. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
