It is our moral responsibility to accompany those who fought and continue to fight for the state.

The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, visited the Rambam Health Campus today (Wednesday) and met with IDF soldiers wounded in combat in southern Lebanon as part of Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’.

“Families,” the Chief of Staff continued, “you share the injury with your loved ones and are dealing with the path to recovery. Your care and presence are an integral part of their rehabilitation and victory. I am amazed by the strength you project. It instills strength and power in me and in us.”

“Alongside the families stand the medical teams – you are unparalleled in the world. With dedication, professionalism, and humanity, you accompany the wounded, save lives, and strengthen social resilience. Together, you are both the home front and the front line here. The entire IDF thanks you,” added Lt. Gen. Zamir.

“The IDF is committed to continuing to accompany, treat, and support the wounded from the operation and all IDF wounded and disabled veterans,” the Chief of Staff concluded. “This is our deep moral and ethical responsibility for those who fought and continue to fight for the country.”
