IDF Secures Crossings for Ramadan Prayers

IDF forces secured crossings and Jerusalem for Ramadan prayers, ensuring security while facilitating worship and daily life during the first Friday of the holy.

IDF Forces’ Readiness at Crossings During the First Friday of Ramadan In anticipation of the first Friday of the month of Ramadan, security forces were deployed at the crossings and in the Jerusalem area to allow worshippers to reach the Temple Mount, while maintaining stability and security in the area. A sector tour of the crossings and the Jerusalem area took place yesterday (Friday) headed by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Tamir Yadai, and with the participation of the Commander of the Central Command, Major General Avi Blot, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Major General Yoram Levy, the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Kobi Heller, the Head of the Civil Administration, Brigadier General Hisham Ibrahim, the commanders of the Benjamin and Etzion brigades, and additional commanders in the security bodies.
