Joint statement from theand the Police Spokesperson: Yamam fighters and forces from the Menashe Brigade apprehended a terrorist in the heart of Jenin who was involved in the January 6, 2025, hotel attack. Yesterday (Thursday), Yamam fighters and IDF forces operated in Jenin under the command of the Menashe Brigade and under the direction of the Shin Bet, and apprehended the terrorist Muhammad Zaydan, who served as an accomplice to the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack at the hotel in which three Israeli civilians were murdered and eight additional civilians were injured. The terrorist was a former senior figure in the Jenin terror organization and was involved in financing terror elements and promoting terror activities against the State of Israel. Security forces will continue to operate proactively and offensively to thwart terror throughout Judea and Samaria.
