IDF forces eliminated a Hamas terrorist who posed a threat to our forces: Following intelligence investigation, it was found that throughout the war he launched rockets towards Israeli territory. Forces of the Northern Brigade eliminated yesterday (Sunday) a terrorist from the Beit Lahia battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization. The terrorist was identified approaching the forces in the area of the “Green Line” in a manner that posed an immediate threat and was eliminated in order to remove the threat. Following intelligence investigation, it was found that the terrorist launched rockets towards Israeli territory throughout the war. In another incident earlier today (Monday), forces of the 188th Brigade Combat Team operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified a terrorist who approached the area of the “Green Line” and towards the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat. Immediately after identification, the forces eliminated the terrorist in order to remove the threat. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
