Earlier today (Tuesday), Israeli civilians threw stones at IDF soldiers operating in the area near Kiryat Arba in the Judea Brigade.

As a result of the stone-throwing, an IDF soldier was lightly injured and received medical treatment at the scene. This incident joins an event that occurred earlier today, in which IDF forces and the Civil Administration carried out enforcement activities against several Israeli construction elements that were built illegally, at the Bypass Junction in the Judea Brigade. The evacuation was carried out in accordance with a security order signed by the Central Command. The order was signed following criminal activities, unusual violence, and serious criminal incidents that affected the stability and security of the area, from the enforced area. Upon completion of the enforcement activity, the forces were violently attacked. There were no casualties. Security forces detained several civilians at the scene, who will be transferred for further treatment by the Israel Police in the Judea and Samaria District. The IDF views violence against its soldiers and commanders with severity and condemns it in the strongest terms.
