IDF's 401st Brigade eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist emerging from a tunnel in southern Lebanon; no Israeli casualties.
With speed and a drive for contact, the forces returned fire and neutralized the terrorist. There are no casualties among our forces. Subsequently, the brigade forces and the Yahalom unit scanned the area and located the tunnel from which the terrorist emerged. Maps and various types of weaponry were found in the compound, including weapons, RPG missiles, and clothing for prolonged stays. The IDF will continue to operate with force against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime, and will not allow harm to the civilians of the State of Israel.
