Division 36 forces joined the expansion of targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon. Division 36 forces have recently begun targeted ground operations for an additional objective in the south.
Division 36 forces launch targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon to establish forward defense and neutralize threats for northern residents.
In parallel with Division 91, and continuing their previous mission, forces are continuing their effort to establish forward defense in order to neutralize threats and create an additional security layer for the residents of the North. Prior to the forces’ entry, the IDF attacked numerous terror targets in the area using artillery and Air Force aircraft. The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against the Hezbollah terror organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime. The IDF will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.
