Yesterday (Wednesday), forces from the Golani Brigade Combat Team identified, in two separate incidents, armed terrorist cells from the Hezbollah terror organization. In one of the incidents, the terrorists attempted to fire anti-tank missiles at the forces. Immediately after identification, in a rapid closing of the circle, the fighters eliminated five terrorists, and the Air Force eliminated three additional terrorists in an aerial strike. In the last 24 hours, more than 20 terrorists have been eliminated and dozens of military structures belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization have been destroyed by the Division’s forces and the Air Force. In addition, the fighters located and confiscated numerous weapons, including RPGs, anti-tank rockets, ammunition, a hunting rifle, and additional military equipment. The IDF will continue to operate with force against the Hezbollah terror organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to the civilians of the State of Israel.
