After approximately two years of fighting in the Gaza Strip, and conducting several pre-planned exercises as part of the annual exercise plan for 2026, the 162nd Division has completed its deployment for activity in the northern sector and is ready to receive orders based on the situation assessment.
IDF forces will continue to operate to defend the residents of the North, to strengthen the forward defense line, and to prevent the rearmament and rehabilitation of Hezbollah.
