Tel Aviv Marathon 2026 Draws Record 50,000 Runners
Tel Aviv-Jaffa's 2026 Marathon will see a record 50,000 participants, including international elites from Kenya and Ethiopia, competing Friday.
Jerusalem, 22 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-Jaffa is set to host Israel’s largest sporting event ever as 50,000 registered participants compete in the Tel Aviv Marathon on Friday.
The full marathon will feature more than 3,000 runners, including 15 elite athletes from Kenya and Ethiopia aiming to beat the 2023 course record of 2:10:11. The half marathon has over 12,000 entrants, while the 10 km race tops 20,000.
Hundreds of international participants are joining from countries including the U.S., France, Germany, and Australia. Marathon City at Ganei Yehoshua Park will host live music, a fair, and activation zones. The event also includes a Children’s Mini Marathon.
