Jerusalem, 7 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) strike in Beirut and at the conclusion of a situational assessment, the IDF is preparing for incoming fire toward the territory of the State of Israel in the coming hours.

The IDF has bolstered its defensive components and is in a state of readiness and alertness for a range of scenarios in defense and offense. The Chief of the General Staff, Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and IDF commanders are currently conducting situational assessments and closely monitoring developments.

The public is urged to remain vigilant, act responsibly, and adhere to the updated guidelines from the Home Front Command as they are issued from time to time.

In the event of further changes to the situational assessment, the public will be updated accordingly.
