The Israel Police is a state law enforcement body, and its officers work day and night for public safety and the maintenance of law and order. The attempt to turn a police officer into a target for incitement and shaming is ugly, offensive, and may constitute an invasion of privacy and a criminal offense. We will not tolerate any attempt to deter police officers from fulfilling their duties through slander and defamation.
