Lithuanian Delegation Comes to Israel to Learn About Emergency Medical Responses During Current War
A Lithuanian delegation, including the Deputy Minister of Health, visited Magen David Adom to learn about Israel's emergency medical response during the ongoing.
Jerusalem, 30 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A delegation of senior officials led by the Deputy Minister of Health of Lithuania visited the Magen David Adom headquarters in Kiryat MDA in Ramla in recent days. The visit is a follow-up to the visit of the Lithuanian Minister of Health and her professional team earlier this year, and was organized by the Ministry of Health. The members of the delegation requested to come during the war in order to learn firsthand about the preparations and operational response of MDA and the Israeli health system as part of the ongoing war against Iran.
During the visit, the delegation members received a comprehensive overview of the organization’s activities and Preparations for the operation, and of the medical response provided by MDA teams across the country since the beginning of the fighting.
The delegation members were exposed to the preparations that MDA has made in recent years to deal with complex emergency situations, including large-scale exercises, strengthening the command and control system, and deepening cooperation with all emergency and health agencies, including the Home Front Command, the Israel Police, and the Ministry of Health.
