Jerusalem, 16 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Ministries of Health and Environmental Protection warned that high to very high air pollution persists across the country due to dust carried by southeastern winds from Jordan. The poor air quality is expected to continue through Wednesday.
Sensitive groups—including the elderly, children, pregnant women, and those with heart or lung conditions—are advised to avoid strenuous outdoor activity, while the general public should limit intense outdoor exercise.
