Jerusalem, 1 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — For the first time in the north of Israel, a gynecological clinic especially for girls, teenagers and young women (ages 0-22) was established at the Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa.

The clinic was opened with the understanding that female health at a young age requires unique expertise, a sensitive, age-appropriate approach, with a team that provides age-appropriate professional support and guidance throughout all stages of development, while thinking about her future health.
The clinic treats a variety of medical conditions, from menstrual disorders, through congenital conditions, treatment of hormonal problems to accompanying girls with complex medical needs.

A gynecological clinic for girls allows for:
An age-appropriate, sensitive, respectful approach that takes into account the various needs during childhood and adolescence.
The possibility of early diagnosis and appropriate treatment of various problems in order to enable optimal health in the present and future.
Integrated treatment, if necessary, including doctors, nurses, psychologists and complementary teams
Long-term medical follow-up, if necessary.
Gynecologist service for girls.
