Jerusalem, 1 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Arab society Health Ambassadors Scholarship Program 2026 offers Arab-Israelis a chance to study for master’s degrees in the health professions.
The Ministry of Health calls this a “systemic health plan to reduce gaps and inequalities in health in Arab society.”
The Arab community in Israel faces many challenges, explained the Ministry, one of which is the shortage of Health professionals. Out of this shortage arose the need for an “innovative and significant initiative” that gave rise to a special scholarship program, Messengers of Health, the Health Ambassadors, which aims to promote and support students from Arab society.
The program offers a solution to two main challenges:
Addressing the economic barriers that prevent high-quality students from pursuing academic studies.
A response to the shortage of professional manpower in the health professions in Arab society.
In addition to the financial assistance that the program offers, there is also academic and professional support, thus enabling students who take part in the program to focus on their studies, excel, develop, and integrate into the new generation of healthcare professions.
