Israeli Food Supply Stable as Farmers Work Under Fire
Israel's Ministry of Agriculture confirms stable food supplies, with farmers working under fire and production continuing normally amid the war.
Jerusalem, 3 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security said that the supply of fresh produce to the public is continuing as usual, despite the war.
According to The Ministry’s situational assessment, farmers across the country are continuing to work under fire, maintaining regular supplies of vegetables and winter fruits, including citrus. Slaughterhouses, egg collection and marketing, and dairy production are functioning normally and meeting local demand. Milk collection from dairy farms is proceeding regularly.
Activity in the flower industry remains limited, with exports reduced because of Ben-Gurion Airport’s closure. The ministry said it is working to minimize harm to exporters and will continue to monitor developments.
