Israel Sees 5.2% Increase in Credit Card Purchases
Israeli consumers significantly increased credit card spending by 5.2% from December 2025 to February 2026, data shows.
Jerusalem, 26 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported a 5.2% increase in total credit card purchases by private consumers in the period of December 2025 – February 2026. This is according to trend data in annual calculation (in constant prices).
There was also a 2.3% increase in purchases of other products and services, a 6.8% increase in food and beverage purchases (including food services) a 4.9% increase in purchases of industrial products and a 10.1% increase in service purchases.
