Consumer Confidence Index Up Slightly in January 2026
Israel's Consumer Confidence Index rose to -16% in January 2026, up from -18% in December 2025. The index measures optimism from -100 to +100.
Jerusalem, 10 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that Consumer Confidence Index in January 2026 Stood at -16%. This is up slightly from -18% in December 2025.
There was no significant change in the four balance sheets that make up the index.
The relative consumer confidence index stood at 90.
The consumer confidence index ranges from minus 100 to plus 100. The closer the index value is to the upper limit, the greater optimism among individuals, and the closer the index value is to the lower limit, the greater pessimism.
