Benefits for Employers of Military Reservists to Be Made Permanent
Israeli employers' compensation for military reservists' absences will become permanent, extending financial support beyond March 2026.
Jerusalem, 11 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Increased compensation for employers of military reservists will be extended. The current temporary order will expire at the end of March 2026, but upon budget approval, the order will become permanent.
While the salaries of Israelis while they perform military reserve duty are reimbursed by the government to their employers, businesses still suffer financially from the loss of the employees.
