Jerusalem, 9 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The average salary for a salaried position at current prices in 2025 was 13,919 Shekels ($4,480), an increase of 3.4% compared to 2024, when it was 13,455 Shekels ($4,333). This is according to the data released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.

The average salary for an employee position at constant prices (deducted by the monthly consumer price index) was 11,268 Shekels ($3,620), an increase of 0.4% compared to 2024, when it was 11,223 Shekels ($3,600).

The total number of salaried jobs in Israel in 2025 was 4.126 million in 2025, an increase of 2.3% compared to 2024, when it was 4.034 million.

Average salary for an employee position at current prices – According to the flash estimates for January 2026, the average salary for an employee position at current prices for all employees was 13,534 Shekels (4,300$), an increase of 3.5% compared to January 2025, when it was 13,083 Shekels ($4,200).

The average salary for a salaried position at current prices for Israeli workers was 13,835 Shekels ($4,450), an increase of 3.7% compared to January 2025, when it was 13,337 Shekels ($4,290).

Employee jobs – According to the flash estimates for January 2026, the number of employee jobs for total employees was 4.367 million, an increase of 1.1% compared to January 2025, when it was 4.318 million, and a decrease of 0.8% compared to December 2025 when it was 4.401 million.

The number of salaried jobs of Israeli workers (out of the number of salaried jobs of total workers) was 4.130 million, an increase of 0.4% compared to January 2025, when it was 4.113 million, and a decrease of 0.8% compared to December 2025, when it was 4.162 million.
